Golden Gate Bridge – AutoToll
As of March 27th, 2013, there will no longer be any toll takers on the Golden Gate Bridge, with all tolls being automated by your license plate. Please note, the bridge does have a toll going Southbound on your return to the airport. Rental car companies have different policies about how they handle the toll, so be sure to check with your respective company when you pick up your vehicle. San Francisco Airport (SFO) and the Oakland Airport (OAK)
SFO & OAK offer the majority of inbound flights for guests visiting from outside of Northern California. Alaskan Airlines has also greatly increased their flights into the Sonoma County Airport (STS), so we recommend checking to see if they operate from your local airport, as the option of flying into STS would greatly cut down on the commute after landing.
Sonoma County Airport (STS)
Just 15 minutes from the Calderwood Inn, flying into the Sonoma County Airport is the ideal landing zone for the area. And with convenient rental car companies such as Hertz, Avis and Enterprise, as well as shuttle services from the likes of Uber, you’ll be zipping by the vineyards and walking into the front door of the inn before you know it.
